Designed by C.B. Flockton 1934-6. The south tower was never completed. The church closed at the end of 2017 and its future is now under discussion.

Boarded up houses, Grange Crescent, Thurnscoe
On a large estate built to house colliery workers and their families. Locals call this part of Thurnscoe, east of the railway, 'the top end'. Its formal name is Thurnscoe East.
