Penistone Road without traffic
Great Yorkshire Run 10k on a road currently being resurfaced under the Sheffield City Council Streets Ahead project being completed under a PPI scheme by Amey.
Runners may have noted the poor surface of the old road, and had some doubts as to whether the new surface would prove any better.
