1960's Dry Stone Walling, Scraith Wood Drive, Sheffield
Looked awful when it was first used ... and some 40 years later doesn't look any better! Mind you if it had been built in brick it would probably have been covered in graffiti ... every cloud etc.

Fire at The Ritz, Parson Cross, Sheffield
I've heard of Tea at The Ritz ... perhaps the crumpets caught fire! The Ritz was built as a cinema in the 1930 ... but like most cinemas ended up as a Bingo Hall. Now it's empty and derelict. I have 'placed' The Ritz in Parson Cross as this was how it was advertised in its hey day ... it could be described as being in Southey Green as in the link. Image Image
