Samuel Fox House, Northern General Hospital, Sheffield
The School of Nursing and Midwifery, established in 1995, is based in this lovely modern building. Most of the buildings at the Sheffield Northern General Hospital are named after people who made their name (and fortune) in the Steel Industry. I'm not sure what connection Samuel Fox has with Midwifery but I think he would be pleased with the building.

Human Nutrition Building - 2, Northern General Hospital, Sheffield
This view gives a better idea of the size of some of the original Sheffield Union Workhouse Buildings ... this one was the School for the children of the inmates. The many trees on the site make it difficult to get 'uncluttered' views. In the foreground is part of a small two storey Staff Only Car Park.
