Firth Park Clinic
Still an NHS clinic. I think it may have been purpose-built in the early days of the health service as a pre and post natal clinic.

Buses on Sicey Avenue, Firth Park
Firth Park is something of a focal point for the bus network in north Sheffield: two main corridor cross here, with a number of less frequent routes also serving the area. Here, one of Stagecoach's Alexander ALX300 bodied MAN 18.240HOCL single deckers loads at one of the main bus stops serving the Firth Park district centre. At this point, Sicey Avenue is one way and the zebra crossing in the left background is correspondingly narrow; therefore, when more than one bus attempts to use the bus stop, no traffic can get through until both buses move. On this occasion, the First operated double decker appears to have tried to escape but cannot quite squeeze past its rival.

The last time I came this way (about 35 years ago) a Co-op dairy stood here, from whence milk floats would radiate each morning.
