Shopping courtyard in the snow
The Thursday afternoon after most of the snow had fallen overnight Tuesday/Wednesday. The snow was over a foot deep with the little paths cut through just made out in the glare of the white. Most of the little businesses were still closed.

Bolsover is a market town situated in the north-east of the county of Derbyshire, 18 miles from Sheffield, 26 miles from Nottingham and 27 miles from Derby. The A682 road runs through the centre of the town.
