Public house by the A617
The Plug and Feathers is actually outdone in the Glapwell pub naming stakes by the Young Vanish further along. This is by the turn for Stockley Lane, the start of the Stockley Trail towards the Doe Lea valley and Bolsover.

Food-orientated Public House situated alongside the A617 Road on The Hill, Glapwell. The Plug and Feathers refers to a traditional implement used to split stone and the pub itself is handily placed for anyone using the Stockley Trail which starts (or terminates) right here.
