Mill Fields housing development
A new estate off Mill Lane. This part near the entrance has been completed but construction continues further down on the estate.

Disused sidings bridge near Grassmoor
Beyond the bridge, in the direction of the path, a goods train can just be seen on the Midland railway track from Nottingham to Sheffield. The bridge is on the edge of the Avenue Washlands Nature Reserve, due to open in October 2006.
