Chesterfield Town Hall
Built between 1935 & 1938 and designed by A.J. Hope. As an architect, Hope was a traditionalist, favouring a severe classical style derived from the later Georgian period, with a clear distaste for Modernism.

Chesterfield Town Hall is situated on Rose Hill, overlooking Shentall Gardens and the War Memorial. Construction of the building commenced in 1935 and was completed in 1938.
