A pleasant brick and stone Ward's pub, with a nicely detailed window (Image]).
It had closed in 2010 and so bucks the trend of pubs closing and staying closed.

Former furnaces, Bower Spring, Sheffield
Not much to look at, but important relics of Sheffield's industrial past. A sign reads, "These remains of C19th furnaces for making cementation steel are a Scheduled Ancient Monument/They were built in 1828 and used until around 1910/They belong to the South Yorkshire Industrial History Society". They were built for Thomas Turton's Frankin works.
