Infirmary Road Tram Stop
One of the Yellow and Blue Route Sheffield Tram Stops, named after the Royal Infirmary building in the background. The hospital was built in 1792 as Sheffield General Infirmary, was renamed in 1897 as the Royal Infirmary. The hospital was replaced by the Royal Hlamshire Hospital and closed in 1980. Most of the buildings remain and are in use as offices.
