Fields Adjoining Royd near Stocksbridge
This picture was taken from Townend Lane near its junction with Helliwell Lane and shows agricultural land near Parsonage Farm. An annoying shower had just moved across the area on an otherwise nondescript Sunday in mid September.

Common Lane is a byway open to all traffic though the passing places provided appear to be seldom used.
