Fields Adjoining Royd near Stocksbridge
This picture was taken from Townend Lane near its junction with Helliwell Lane and shows agricultural land near Parsonage Farm. An annoying shower had just moved across the area on an otherwise nondescript Sunday in mid September.

Route Unsuitable
Beyond the farm, the byway turns into a grass covered rutted track. It is certainly not suitable for a family car!
