This pub is known locally as 'The Top Red' to distinguish it from The Red Lion pub 'down in the valley' on Penistone Road which is known as 'The Bottom Red' ... makes sense and t'locals know exactly which pub is being referred to. Image

Grenoside Working Men's Club
Complete with 'Outside Smoker' ... no pub or club is complete without one these days. I suspect when the Club first opened the vast majority of members would have smoked.
