Former Chapeltown (MR) station
The Midland Railway's 1897 station was here by the Arundel Road bridge, not to be confused with the earlier Chapeltown Central which was on a different line. It was replaced in 1984 by the present station a little further south on the same line, more convenient for the shopping centre of Chapeltown. Image gives a clearer view of this location.
