St Edmund's Church and Churchyard, Castleton
The church stands just off the main street in Castleton. It dates from the twelfth century, having been originally built as a garrison chapel for the soldiers in Peveril Castle. Some of the original Norman features still remain.
It is a Grade II* listed building (English Heritage Building ID: 82479 http://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/en-82479-church-of-st-edmund-castleton-derbyshire British Listed Buildings).
