Stoke Toll House and cottage
A plaque on the door dates this building as around 1729. Sadly it has been altered a great deal since that time. The building is adjacent to the grounds surrounding Stoke Hall and it is unclear as to whether tolls were collected from travellers on the B6001 or the side road to Froggatt - or both.

Froggatt and former stables to Stoke Hall
Stoke Hall is on the other side of the road. Marked on OS 1:25000 as a hotel, it was until 1982, but now private. A Grade 2* Listed Palladian house
