Railway Bridge MAC3/166 at Chestnut Avenue, Wales. Once over the bridge you're on Storth Lane which is a Public Bridleway that connects Wales with Todwick.

The railway here is adjacent to a large comprehensive school and I suspect that the severe design is intended to discourage vandalism

Storth Lane, Wales
Interesting to see how these 1950s semis have survived. If memory is correct, they were a step up from the bungalow prefabs, but similar in concept, mass produced to save cost and time.
Clearly some have had their outer walls rebuilt in brick instead of the original concrete panels. They all look well kept.
