Interesting to see how these 1950s semis have survived. If memory is correct, they were a step up from the bungalow prefabs, but similar in concept, mass produced to save cost and time. Clearly some have had their outer walls rebuilt in brick instead of the original concrete panels. They all look well kept.

Wales Shopping
Most of the shops in Wales are located on this bump in the road. The pub on the right is called The Forge, no doubt taking its name from an ancient forge which once stood on the spot or alternatively from a brewery marketing departments efforts one Friday afternoon.

Bridge over the Sheffield to Lincoln railway line at Wales
Railway Bridge MAC3/166 at Chestnut Avenue, Wales. Once over the bridge you're on Storth Lane which is a Public Bridleway that connects Wales with Todwick.
