Another old railway bridge, Rother Valley Park
Yet another old railway bridge on the west side of Rother Valley Country Park. Because of the mess of lines around here in days gone past, it's difficult on the 1901 maps to accurately identify which bit of railway this bridge carried, although I suspect it carried the Great Central once. Just beyond the end of the overbridge on the left (east) would have been the junction for the line that once ran through where the park is now, close to the site of the old Bedgreave Mill, the buildings of which form the cafe complex in the park.
