Site of Beighton Station
View northward, towards Sheffield (Victoria); ex-GCR Sheffield (Victoria) - Nottingham (Victoria) - Leicester (Central) - London, etc. Main line. Beighton Station had closed on 1/11/54, and this 'London Extension' from Sheffield lost its main line status in 1960, Woodhouse Junction - Annesley being closed on 4/3/63 and southward from Annesley mainly from 5/9/66.

Beighton Level Crossing
An East Midlands Trains empty stock 'Meridian' passes Beighton level crossing bound for Sheffield on the last weekend of the three month diversion to avoid the upgrade of Bradway tunnel on the normal route. Passenger trains will again become a rare sight at this location.
