Henry Leah & Sons, Cambridge Stamping Works
Cambridge Street in the centre of Sheffield. This was the site of several little workshops connected to the cutlery and hand tools trade. A Grade II listed building to be preserved and enveloped by proposed new developments ( if they ever get going now).

Chap with loud hailer, at the protest against the Lib-Dems, in Sheffield, 12 March 2011. Bankers and their bonuses were his theme, and the crowds loved it.

12-18 Cambridge Street, Sheffield
An example of the courtyard workshops once prevalent in Sheffield. Leah's Yard lies behind the central gates. Partly built for coachbuilders, partly for Henry Leah who manufactured die stamps for silverware (and whose sign is still visible), and later used by various cutlery- and tool-associated trades. Dated c1878. Grade II* listed. Pevsner says it has been disused for over fifteen years, and it shows.

Christmas Big Wheel in Barkers Pool
A more traditional attraction than recent ones in this location, still not been tempted to go on it though! (But maybe a geograph beckons...)
