One doesn't have to travel far from the dash of architectural bling in the city centre to find spots like this. Most of the workshops and offices - a mixture of Victorian and post-war - were disused at the time of the photo.

72-76 Sidney Street, Sheffield
No doubt once a hive of industry, but now, "believe you me", one of the most decayed buildings in this generally down-at-heel street (Image]).
The end wall is graced by a charming mural of blue tits pecking at a green human heart (I think).
