Parkway Man
Jason Thomson's statue Parkway Man is located in the ancient Bowden Housteads Wood, at the edge of the Sheffield Parkway. It stands over 3m tall and weighs over 3 tons. It was cast in 2003.

This larger than life steel character looks out on the passing traffic somewhat threateningly.

This mammoth steel figure stands in Bowden Housteads Woods staring at passing traffic on the Sheffield Parkway. He represents the legions of Sheffielders who devoted and continue to devote their working lives to the production of steel.
