Sheffield: Broad Street West
Looking up Broad Street West from the Image The Travelodge Hotel is prominent on the right, while the red-brick building in the background is Image We can see the Norfolk Arms pub directly facing us, with Dixon Lane alongside leading up to Haymarket.
Such is the size of the Park Square roundabout below and behind us, that the connection with the remainder of Broad Street, farther behind us, is not at all obvious on the ground.

Sheffield: half marathon on Park Square
The Sheffield Half Marathon usually takes place on the last Sunday in April, and here we see participants coming off Exchange Place onto Park Square, fairly early in the course. In an hour or two they will come back along the same route in the opposite direction.

Exchange Place approach to Park Square (1980)
Park Square is where the A57 Parkway from the M1 enters the city centre. The roundabout today has the addition of bridges for the city's Supertram.

Panache House, Commercial Street, Sheffield
