Hunter's Bar Roundabout, Sheffield
Hunter's Bar is a roundabout and former toll bar
on Ecclesall Road in South-West Sheffield. The area is featured in the lyric of the Arctic Monkeys' song 'Fake Tales of San Francisco' - "she talks of San Francisco, she's from Hunter's Bar".

Ghost sign above shops on Eccelsall Road
The sign advertised a drapery stores but I can't decipher the full name. The e-cigarette shop is shortly to be replaced by a 'pop-up' pub.

Endcliffe Park, Sheffield 11
A view of the River Porter, a.k.a. Porter Brook, tumbling over a weir before disappearing beneath a road known as Brocco Bank. A listed toll bar, known as Hunter's Bar, is located in the middle of Hunter's Bar roundabout, to photographer's immediate left.

Hunter's Bar roundabout
This is the main road junction in the square. On any weekday morning at 8:30 it is pretty much locked solid. Just visible under the trees is a modern gate, a rather strange reminder of the original toll gate or Bar.
