Gateway, Cemetery Avenue, Sheffield
Imposing main entrance to the General Cemetery. Fluted Greek Doric columns and square pillars. Rectilinear, lacking the usual pediment. By Samuel Worth, who laid out the cemetery, 1834-36. Grade II listed.

The Gatehouse, Sheffield General Cemetery
The Gatehouse (Grade II* listed), is one of many examples of classical architecture in the cemetery. The gateway itself was designed to resemble a Roman arch and the doorways are Egyptian in style.
