Sheffield Hallam F.C.
The ground is 148 years old and football has been played there since their formation all those years ago. The oldest ever footballing derby was played at Sandygate on Boxing Day 1860 and won by Sheffield F.C.

This football ground has been in use continuously since 1860, making it the oldest football ground in the entire world. Adjacent to the football pitch is the wicket of Hallam Cricket Club.

View of the main stand at Hallam FC's Sandygate Ground
This photograph was taken at the oldest football ground in the world during an FA Cup preliminary fixture between Hallam and visitors - Atherton Collieries. Atherton won 3-2. Sandygate has been Hallam FC's home ground ever since the club was formed in 1860.

The Oldest Football Ground in the World
This is a view of the Sandygate Ground in Sheffield's Crosspool suburb during an FA Cup match between Hallam FC and Atherton Collieries. Hallam have played here continuously since their formation in 1860.
