Lion Pit Cutting
A view towards the Thames just above the now wooded old cutting which led from Lion Pit (now Gorge) to the wharves by the Thames. This is now part of the Chafford Gorges nature reserve, managed by Essex Wildlife Trust. The tall pylon is on the Kent side of the river.
