A282 (London Orbital) approaching the Dartford Crossing
The southbound crossing, the Queen Elizabeth II Bridge, can be seen rising in the distance, beyond the signage gantry. On the left, a sign warning of the need to pay the crossing ("DART") charge online by midnight of the day after crossing. At this point the London Orbital road has just changed from being designated as M25 to A282, though for the road-user there are no practical differences; certainly there is no chance that one might walk or take a bicycle over the bridge, alas.
