North Stifford Remembers
The whole of North Stifford High Road is bedecked with poppies to commemorate 100 years since the 1918 armistice. North Stifford in Distress?
I am afraid about half the Union Flags erected as Image the 1918 armistice were hanging upside down. At first I thought it might be a subliminal message reflecting the local distress about the proposed routing of the link road from the future additional Thames River Crossing to the M25 passing rather too close to the village. However I was clearly not the only person to spot the error as I only just arrived in time to immortalise the slip up before it was Image
