Weather-boarded cottage by Godstone village pond
On the south side of the green, hence the name 'North View'. A fair number of weather-boarded properties survive in this part of Surrey, but early photographs show that in Victorian times they were very numerous in south-east England, in the larger towns as well as in the countryside.
