Station Road West, Oxted
I think these buildings are "mock" Tudor rather than genuine, but I stand to be corrected. They look attractive though. The one in the centre of the picture is the Post Office and nearer the camera is an estate agent.

Architectural detail, Station Road West, Oxted
I think these buildings are "mock" Tudor rather than genuine, but I stand to be corrected. They look attractive though, with woodcarving details such as the Tudor rose and human-face corbels as seen here.

Shops, Station Road West, Oxted
Nothing is really old here in what was first called New Oxted, the whole settlement here was created when the railway came (quite late - 1884) and was just built to look old.
