Padbrook, Limpsfield
The roads and verges on this small housing estate are so well kept that I presume it is either privately managed, or has a very active residents' association.

Timber-framed cottages in Detillens Lane, Limpsfield
At the northern end, close to the High Street. The timber framing in old cottages like these can appear very rickety and irregular - presumably the result of rather haphazard renewal over a period of centuries. I have cropped this shot tightly in order to emphasise the irregular geometry (particularly of the roof) and so as not to include a clutter of television aerials.
