A small garage on the Chequers Roundabout on a site with motor engineering links back to the start of the 20th century, fittingly given that this is on the route of the annual London-Brighton veteran car run.

Sundial, Halt and Pull
Sundial on wall of the Halt and Pull, the bar/gastropub at the former Chequers Hotel (see Image), now reopened and rebranded as the Four Points by Sheraton after a period of closure. Four Points by Sheraton
Former Chequers Hotel (see Image), now reopened and rebranded after a period of closure. The building originally dates from the 16th century (the section here with the sundial is part of the original build), but has been much altered and added to over the years. The bar/restaurant is branded the "Halt and Pull".
