Remains of Wood Pigeon
Almost certainly the victim of a sparrowhawk. However the plucking of feathers had not progressed very far, suggesting that the predator had been disturbed and flown away. Bearing in mind that the remains were adjacent to a track, either a vehicle or human could have appeared.
