Newdigate Endowed Church of England Infant School

Newdigate village sign
To be found in the south-east corner of the Brocus at the junction of Kingsway and Village Street. Just below the sign is a plaque which reads, "The arms of the family of Newdigate. Anciently lords of this village."

St Peter's Church, Newdigate
The chancel, nave and south aisle were built in the 12th century, of which many features remain, although partly reconstructed from the original stone in 1875. The oak timber-framed tower, which now houses six bells, has been dated by dendrochronology to 1525. http://www.achurchnearyou.com/newdigate-st-peter/
