St Martin's Dorking, Chancel, Altar and East Window
The interior of Image The mediæval chancel was rebuilt between 1866 and 1868 in a 14th century style. The East Window contains scenes from the Resurrection and the Passion. The reredos has a central panel of English alabaster, into which are placed a gilt brass crucifix and stone symbols of the Evangelists. To either side are stone panels, one with the figures of angels, the other with saints. (source, "A look at St Martin's" published by the Friends of St Martin's, Dorking)
