This stretch of road is now almost wholly developed with offices. The building on the right is Douglas House, occupied by Kimberly-Clark. In the background can be seen the level crossing by Reigate Station, with the Reigate Hill TV transmitter on the skyline on the far left of the photo.

Statue to Margot Fonteyn, Reigate
Margot Fonteyn was born Margaret Hookham on 18th May 1919 in Reigate, Surrey, to an English father and a half-Irish half-Brazilian mother. This statue to her is outside Watson House in London Road on the way from the town centre to the station.
