Towards Gatwick
Viewed from Colley Hill. In the foreground (but in fact around a mile away) is the Castle ridge in Reigate, with Hardwicke Road running towards the photographer. Beyond this is the grassland of Priory Park, running up to the wooded Park Hill. Hidden from view between the two ridges is Reigate High Street. In the distance is Gatwick Airport, with the Sussex Weald beyond. In the very far distance is the line of the South Downs.

Warrenne Way
Originally Reigate Parish School, Warrenne Way was developed in 1995 after the school moved to a new site in Blackborough Road (see Image). Part was a redevelopment of the old buildings (which are grade II listed), the remainder new build in a sympathetic style (in the background on the right). The development was named after William de Warrenne, who built Reigate Castle (the mound of which is just to the east of this site, on the other side of London Road) in 1088. The building in the centre of the photo was originally the headmaster's house, before forming part of the school. It dates from 1854, by Henry Clutton.
