Washington Park
According to Washington's 1839 tithe map this was once a field called Barn Field which has now been converted into a camping and caravanning park. The titular barn still stands at the entrance and is used as an office block.

The old course of the A24 created when the new bypass was built in the late 1960s. The lane serves a few houses and Sandhill Farm.

Footpath and Stream near Washington Caravan and Camping Park
In close proximity here. The fence to the right is the boundary to Rock Common Quarry whilst the stream acts as the boundary to the campsite. The sandy nature of the stream bed gives clues to the local geology here.
