A small cul de sac off Rectory Lane built in the early 1970s named after a former windmill that stood on Ashington Common until the early 19th century.

Ashington Children's Nursery
Since Image the chapel has been sold and turned into a children's nursery. The building itself was built in the mid 1890s replacing an older tin structure that had been constructed around 1890.

The private road contains three dwellings including the titular Well House, a 19th century building, which is located on the left and whose grounds the small cul de sac lies on.

An Indian takeaway and hairdressers on the junction with Rectory Lane. The former seems to have served as the village Post Office until it moved to its current location inside a small Co-op store on Turnpike Way.
