The Old Lock Up, 90 High Street, East Grinstead
Purpose built Grade II Listed lock up and Constables House of about 1830. Presumably it went out of use in 1860 when the Police Station in Chapel Lane, now called West Street, was built (and is now a car park).

86 - 90 High Street
Row of three houses in High Street. No 90, The Olde Lock Up, on the left, was built in 1830 as a combined jail and home for the Town Constable. Grade II listed - see https://historicengland.org.uk/listing/the-list/list-entry/1249132?section=official-list-entry. Beyond is nos 86 & 88 (no 88 named Windsor Cottage), originally a single open hall house dating from the 15th Century.
