Commemorative J F Kennedy plaque
This stone is in the wall of Forest Row's village hall. The president was staying with Harold Macmillan MP at Birch Grove and worshipped at the Roman Catholic church in Hartfield Road.

Freshfield Hall, Lewes Road, Forest Row
The village hall was a gift to the village by resident Douglas Freshfield, a well known 19th century mountaineer, in memory of his son. The current building dates from 1895 after the original, opened in 1891, burnt down. In the foreground is the village war memorial.
