Forest Row: postbox № RH18 132, Hartfield Road
This modern postbox stands outside the Co-Op which houses the post office. It is emptied finally at 5:15pm on weekdays and at 12:15pm on Saturdays.
My list of postboxes from Royal Mail gives the whole of this area as having RH19 numbers, probably dating back to the time when Forest Row was postally under East Grinstead – it is now a post town in its own right, with an RH18 postcode.

Forest Row: postbox № RH18 132a
This modern plastic postbox stands inside the post office and is emptied finally at 5:20pm on weekdays – just after the one outside – and at 12:15pm on Saturdays.
No doubt these times fit in well with the postman collecting items left at the post office counter, which closes at 5:30 on weekdays and at 12:30 on Saturdays.
