The Martindale Centre, Station Road, Horsted Keynes
Built in 1907 as a Congregational Church from funds raised by Lousia Martindale. Martindale was a women's rights advocate and well known suffragist of the time who is a distant relative of Labour MP, Harriet Harman. The building remained a chapel until the 1970s after which it was briefly a doctors surgery before it was purchased by the parishioners of St Giles in 1987 who now use it as a community hall.
