Contraption, Ham Cottage, Hammingden Lane
Next to the public footpath to Station Approach the riders start pedalling as soon as the sensor detects movement beyond the gate, out of shot to the right. Designed by two pensioners who go by the name of Huggett and Browne who delight in engineering feats that would not look out of place in either Wallace & Gromit or Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. One of their pieces can be found in a former K4 public telephone box in the nearby hamlet of Highbrook. See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9xkU6pAZ2XU for its original purpose.
