On the north eastern side of the park and containing the usual equipment along with a paddling pool which dates from the 1950s.

The Orchards, South Road, Haywards Heath
A shopping precinct built between 1980-82 accessed from South Road one of the main shopping streets of the town. The bronze sculpture in the foreground seems to have been moved since 2005, see Image and Image taken from the same spot. Marks & Spencer is to the left with Superdrug and Boots straight ahead.

Tory's Cafe, Victoria Park, Haywards Heath
One of Haywards Heath's best kept secrets lies tucked away in the south east corner of Victoria Park. Plenty of seating outside in the summer and nice and cosy inside during the winter. All food is homemade whilst the cafe is dog friendly.

Victoria Park, Haywards Heath
Originally an open field called Barn Meadow in Cuckfield's 1843 tithe map it later became known as Pannett's Meadow after the owner who allowed some recreation on the field. In 1897 it was purchased by the council for public use and subsequently landscaped. The trees on the left are on a mound built up by the earth removed for the excavation of Haywards Heath Tunnel, see Image St Wilfrid's church is on the right.

Brazier Beacon, Victoria Park, Haywards Heath
Erected in 2005 to be lit at times of important celebrations. The wooded area on the western side of the park lies on a large mound formed by the waste when Haywards Heath tunnel and cutting were excavated in the 1840s.

A good 'all weather' shopping place leading out to the main South Road which has more stores. boasting a M&S and Next with several places to have a coffee and a bite.
