One of the electric engines has passed through Court bridge and is now rounding the bend in North Cutting. The track has two gauges three and five inch.
The railway usually opens at weekends from Easter to October with Bank Holidays and Wednesday's during the summer school break as additional days. The trains generally operate from 2.00-5.00 but are out in the sidings steaming up from about 1pm onwards.

Pergola, Beech Hurst Gardens, Haywards Heath
Originally part of the grounds of Beech Hurst house and in existence by 1917 at least. It was substantially repaired by the council after in 1952 after its acquisition of the house and grounds. Beyond the hedge to the north are the tennis courts which was previously the location of the kitchen garden.

Linwood Community Mental Health Centre, Butlers Green Road, Haywards Heath
Occupying part of the former Haywards heath Hospital which was located here from 1912 until the 1990s when all services were moved to the newly opened Princess Royal. Originally opened as a cottage hospital in Ashenground Road in 1906 it moved here in 1912 and was renamed the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital before becoming the Haywards Heath Hospital in 1973

Until last autumn this was the A272 but has now been redesigned the B2272 after the opening of the Haywards Heath relief road. To the immediate right is the junction with the old route of Isaac's Lane, former the A273, whilst developments are in the process of being built either side of the road.
