Chieveley, Black Hill, Lindfield
Dating from the mid 19th century and extended since the house overlooks the western end of Lindfield Common.

Pelham Place Cottages, Black Hill, Lindfield
Originally built in 1824 as part of an industrial school established by William Allen, the quaker industrialist and social reformer, specifically for the labouring poor to become artisans. It closed in 1881 largely as a result of educational restructuring in the area with the original school buildings demolished to make way for a couple of town houses. These dormitories and workshops survived and were converted into cottages in 1894.

Lindfield Primary Academy
The original primary school was formed in 2000 with the amalgamation of the separate infants and junior schools with the new school located on the expanded site of the former infants that had been built in the 1960s. Conversion to an academy under the University of Brighton Academy Trust took place over the summer of 2015.
